On October 11th, Super7 in San Francisco will present for your viewing pleasure, the Sprayed, Splattered, Brushed, Rubbed and Ruined show By Lash aka Richard Montanari Jr. The show will feature Lash’s custom painted vinyl toy work and presenting a “unique interpretation of traditional Japanese vinyl toys”. Lash’s custom’s are beloved and are treasured part of a collector’s toy collection (that is if you are lucky enough to own one). Pictured here is his take on Super7’s own Mummy Boy designed by Brian Flynn. In the past Lash has done customized M1Go Dada, Captain America, Secret Base’s Skullwing among many many others. It’ll be a real treat to see his take on kaiju’s in this upcoming show. Yes, he has sprayed, splattered, brushed and rubbed these toys, but ruined? I think not. The event starts at 7pm at Super7’s San Francisco headquarters.
