ToyCyte: Toy Culture Collected

You’d think being a rock star would keep a lad plenty busy. The travels, the shows, the soundchecks, the interviews, the photoshoots, the groupies. But lead singer Claudio Sanchez of the proggy/alternative band Coheed and Cambria must really know how to utilize his time between sound checks and tour stops. Not only does he have another band called the Prize Fighter Inferno, has his Evil Ink empire, but he also has the time to create the new comic Kill Audio (you can check it out here www.myspace.com/killaudiovinyl) that will have weapon ridden vinyl companion pieces. The first Kill Audio vinyl, which looks an awful lot like Claudio himself, was unveiled at the NYCC and will be coming out this July from the new imprint VinylCut. There will be a “secret” limited variant as the SDCC (okay, not so secret as word on the street says it’s the gold version below – there will be 100 of those available at the Evil Ink booth). A big bonus on the figure? The weapons are removable so “you can kill him yourself”.
