ToyCyte: Toy Culture Collected

My jealousy of New Yorkers just builds and builds right now with newly announced Jon Burgerman events in the Big Apple. Tonight, February 19th, from 6-8PM, Jon will set up a little signing and doodling area at Kidrobot NY on Prince Street. You can get your Tea Bear Dunny or your Ye Olde English Dunny signed. KR will have Heroes of Burgertown minis on hand and be offering 15% off cases of the UK Dunnys. There will also be some sort of amazing, original Burgerman prints. Lucky for me, my generous friend, occasional ToyCyte correspondent and fellow vinyl addict, Saki, has been trailing Jon all over the five boroughs, and at the end of his NYC residency, will have a doodled munny for me. Can’t wait! If you’re around KRNY, show up to this and tell Jon that Americans love great doodles. Bring him some vegetarian snacks maybe too. In fact, bring him something strange to doodle on, send me a pic, and I’ll categorize it and put it on my Jon Burgerman blogography, Doodlesplatter. Yes, I am obsessive.
