Kidrobot Pirate Store in Chicago

Arrgh! Kidrobot will be opening a “pirate” store in Chicago, IL this October. If you think that means that they’ll be selling vinyl versions of eye patches, planks and peg legs, then you are very very wrong. “Pirate” just means that it will be a flash-in-the-pan appearance:a store that is up and running for a couple months and then “poof” disappears. The store opens on October 4th and will close sometime in late December.

The 1,100 sq ft. space will include vinyl toys, clothes, jewelry and accessories and will join Kidrobot’s other retail outlets in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles and Miami in pushing their awesomeness. Kidrobot’s CEO Paul Budnitz stated that “we are very excited to open a Kidrobot store in Chicago’s Wicker Park/Bucktown area for the holiday season. Chicago is an important city to Kidrobot’s retail strategy, and has already been unwaveringly supportive of the brand.”

So start saving Chicago, Kidrobot is coming for your money.
