KidReaper 15

designers, vinyl

I’m sure everyone has a favorite from Kidrobot’s October releases. I’m most excited about KidReaper 15 designed by Andrew Bell. I love Andrew Bell, I love skulls, and I love glow-in-the-dark.

Here is more about the piece:

Printed with a GID skeleton, this 7-incher delivers death swathed in a fabric cloak with flexi wire trim and a swift swipe of his bloodstained scythe. Stay alive long enough to find the chase. On sale October 16 for $50.

That cloak gives it an Obi-Wan meets Death feel, and it sets off my geek radar. Death wouldn’t be complete with its own scythe. Overall the package looks great, and $50 seems like a good price. Of course I’ll be keeping my eye out on sneak previews of the chase figure. His figure is already getting a lot of love on the Kidrobot forum, and you can join the discussion here.

I'm a nerd who loves music, movies, graphic novels, and of course toys. I grew up in Los Angeles, and I currently live in the non-plastic part of Orange County. I'm a sucker for anything that is little and cute: plushies, Dunnys, Smorkin' Labbits, zipper pulls. My collection is dominated by Kozik and Uglydolls, and my latest obsession is IWG/Rocket World.
