I thought this would surely drag out longer, but OriginalFake just put up info about the release of the much-anticipated Kawstrooper. In case your browser blocks pop-ups, I’ve clipped the bilingual press releases here. The gist of it is, this Saturday at 9AM (Tokyo time), there will be a lottery for Kaws’ version of the iconic Storm Trooper figure. People who attend (in person) and bring valid ID will be given a voucher to return to claim the figure at a later date/time. This process is similar to the way in which Kaws released his Darth Vader figures through OriginalFake. (FYI, those figures cost $150 at their release.) If you’re not local (or have a paid lackey), prepare to shell-out exponentially on the aftermarket. Good luck!
