Kaws JPP x G1950 Messenger Bags

Beyond Toys, designers

These may be all gone, since Freshness reported the release over the weekend, but here’s to you trying to coordinate your Kaws vinyl JPP figure with a stylish Original Fake x Porter x Gallery 1950 messenger bag. The bags were released at several selected Original Fake retailers worldwide this weekend, including the Original Fake flagship shop at Aoyama, Tokyo and INVINCIBLE in Taipei.  Designed with retailer G1950 (who have put out all the recent Kaws housewares blogged here) and YOSHIDA & CO., the maker of Porter label accessories, the triple collaboration messenger bag comes with a diagonal pocket (in Kaws’ teeth graphic) across the exterior flap. The interior, lined with bright blue waterproof vinyl, is printed with logos from both companies along with Kaws JPP figure.  As with any Original Fake merchandises, units are extremely limited. I’m digging this bag, particularly the black and blue colorway and the diagonal front zipper integrated into the Kaws’ teeth. I’m sure it’s pretty pricey and/or already sold out, not to mention the fact that I own enough bags and satchels considering I shove mostly everything in my pockets anyway. You can try your hand and credit card at an international order by emailing sales [at] invincible [dot] [com] [dot] tw.
