Beyond Toys, designers, events

ToyCyte has been covering Julie West’s Sickly Sweet show from a west coast distance, and I’m happy to report that My Plastic Heart has a few of Julie’s pieces left for those who were not able to make the event. The work included customized toys like UniPo and Neighborwood, as well as unique wooden fruit, plushes and prints. While most of the pieces are long gone, a couple remain, including the Happy Tea Set (below), a couple Flying Monster embroidered felt dolls and several serigraphs, giclees and prints. Check out the available work at MPH here. Window shopping only? View the art opening here.
