Misc, clay

nyt-illos

Well how cool is this? The New York Times is not typically a place you’d expect to find connections to our community, but creepy clay creator and future custoMONDAY artist (next month!), Jessica Fortner transcends type. You can check out her contribution to the “I Want My Free TV” article online here. The article is a fun read. It concerns the analog to digital TV conversion process that was supposed to happen this month, but is now delayed until June. Like the article’s author, I’m happy to get my small handful of channels on the basement TV with rabbit ears for a few more months. Congratulations Jessica! The New York Times = Big Time. Look for more from her here on ToyCyte soon.
