You might have noticed some interesting etched metal cuffs at a recent convention while you checked out toys and skatedecks by Jared Deal. Well, Jared has joined the official artist roster over at Tattooed Steel, which means you can now wear his designs on wrist cuffs (and possibly belt buckles, rings and dog tags down the road). The site has a nice bio and “inspirational artwork” section for Jared, but the main event is the stainless steel cuffs. You’ll recognize vampires, werewolves and Siamese cats from Jared’s toys, boards and paintings.
Tattooed Steel is a Southern California-based company specializing in custom stainless steel jewelry and accessories. Their products are “driven by the artist and the art community we support. Tattooed Steel is a company built around the artist we promote, NOT off of them.” They use high-grade stainless steel in their cuffs and aerospace quality Titanium alloy in their rings. Jared’s cuffs range from $35-$70 and are available in custom widths and lengths here. I’m not sure I’m the wrist cuff type, so I’m holding out hope for a Vlad belt buckle. If you’re more liberated with your fashion sense, these look very cool, and would go nicely with a Metal for Monsters pendant…
