James Jarvis drawing

If you’re a fan of James Jarvis and Amos Toys, you do not want to miss this one. On Saturday May 3rd, the James Jarvis Selected Drawings Online Gallery will go live on the Amos Toys site. If you’re a Gold or Silver member of their online store, there will be a one-day preview on May 1st and 2nd respectively. The gallery will show 50 original drawings complete with errors, smudges, and tea stains. The drawings have been carefully picked by Jarvis and include some of his favorites from his Selected Drawings book. Each drawing will be an original edition and available for purchase.

Be sure to pick up the latest edition of “Giant Robot: Magazine” which features a Jarvis cover as well as an interview with him:

I'm a nerd who loves music, movies, graphic novels, and of course toys. I grew up in Los Angeles, and I currently live in the non-plastic part of Orange County. I'm a sucker for anything that is little and cute: plushies, Dunnys, Smorkin' Labbits, zipper pulls. My collection is dominated by Kozik and Uglydolls, and my latest obsession is IWG/Rocket World.

I don’t know how good I feel about there being different membership levels/privileges based on how much money you spend at the AMOS store.
