I really missed covering the exciting cross-pollination of politics and playtime that was Jailbreak Toys Obama Action Figure (see all the artist customs from last year at this tag). So I was thrilled to see a revival of sorts hit my inbox this morning. Jailbreak Toys is gearing up to release two limited edition production Obama action figures: an Inaugural version and a Hope version.
Breaking from the conservative dark suit of the original Obama Action Figure, Jailbreak Toys’ founder, Jason Feinberg, aka J*Rock, will be releasing the Limited Edition Inaugural Obama Action Figure in a “funky, fresh and very shiny gold suit, while keeping the action figure Washington, DC-ready in a classic red tie.”
But if you really want to see an iconic image go 3D, you’ll want to pick up the Hope figure. An homage to Shepard Fairey’s prolific campaign posters, the Hope Obama Action Figure was created by Nelson X Ascensio for the ART + ACTION = OBAMA 08 exhibition in New York this past October. Ascensio was inspired by Fairey’s iconic red, white, and blue illustrated image of Barack Obama that so recently dotted countless shop windows, residential yards, and even Time Magazine’s Person of the Year 2008 cover. Shepard Fairey and Nelson X Ascensio, both allies of Jailbreak Toys, granted permission to apply the design to the special Limited Edition Hope Obama Action Figure.
The 3,000 limited edition figures go on sale on January 12th exclusively at Jailbreak Toys. Each 6″ figure has eight points of articulation and is numbered and packaged in an illustrated window box.
The Obama Action Figure, released by Brooklyn-based Jailbreak Toys in 2008, took the toy world by storm, flying off shelves at huge retailers like Urban Outfitters and Borders, making appearances on the Today Show, The View, in People and Essence magazines, as well as inclusion in the National Museum of American History collection of Presidential memorabilia. Jailbreak Toys founder Jason Feinberg a.k.a. J*Rock had no idea during Obama’s early campaign that this designer toy would ever reach the level of success that it has.
“I came up with the idea to create the figure before the first Democratic Primaries,” said Feinberg whose first limited edition is now fetching up to seven times the retail price on eBay. “There was more than excitement surrounding Obama’s campaign, there was engagement and I wanted to find a way to support his message.”

Thank God
God Used Lincoln Greenbacks to free slave’s
Thank God Lincoln Greenbacks were a Debt Free Money.
Not printed by a bank and not Borrowed from a bank.
Sorry to say Oboma is no Lincoln
Lincoln was a man who read the bible and could not put his fellow man in debt because he was a man who loved and feared God.
So he printed his own money and tolled the bank “for the love of God No. ”
The money he printed was called Lincoln Greenbacks.
Lincoln Greenbacks as God planned it freed slave’s by winning the war.
when The war was over there was no debt to the bank.
Tell Obama that
Obama does not have to barrow from the federal reserve bank at a interest rate.
Obama can make the government print its own money at no interest rate and tell the federal reserve bank to take a hike.
Lincoln was a man who read the bible and could not put his fellow man in debt because he was a man who loved and feared God.
