I’ve been checking out The Sleepers, a blog started by the guys at Kidrobot LA. I saw the words “JabbaWockeez” in a post title, and I got excited. Someone sculpted this prototype for a JabbaWockeez toy and approached the guy at KidRobot LA. The hollowed-out eyes bother me a little, but overall it is funky and cute. I think it’s an excellent prototype, and I hope the creator is able to get this produced.
In case you didn’t know, the JabbaWockeez are the winning team from the first season of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew. I was a fan of the JabbaWockeez from their very first performance. They are a crew of breakdancers who understand choreography. They didn’t just free-style; they created routines with amazing freezes and intricate footwork. Every week I rooted for the Jabba, and I voted for them every week. Yes, I know I sound like a huge geek right now.
