Itokin Park’s Iti-pinhead from Kuso Vinyl

vinyl

Everything comes in threes, so I’m expecting to be saying something else about Kuso Vinyl shortly. Besides the fact that they have (or had) a pre-order for Buff Monster’s KFGU piece, Jonathan sent us these pics of Iti-pinhead, a new figure by Itokin Park that they will be producing. This is the third piece for locals Kuso Vinyl, with the first figure being Ninja Spiki and the second one, Celsius. Iti-pinehead is 5 inches tall, made of vinyl and the first colorway will be produced in an edition of 150 pieces with an expected release date of January, 2009.

[Editor's note: Post amended to correct typo in figure title from press release.]

The figure is actually named Pinhead. Kusovinyl had a typo. I was at dinner with Itokin Park the other night talking about this figure and the double meaning of Pinhead relative to a hedgehog. Basically he wanted a name that kind of means “dummy”. The fact that the hedgehog looks like a pin cushion was an added bonus.

Thanks for the comment! I updated the post and added a note. The name “pinhead” makes much more sense! Appreciate the info.
