Beyond Toys

Most toy fans are buzzing about the upcoming SDCC ‘08 limited edition pink Jeremiah the Innocent variant figure, but if you’re in the market for something from Daniel Johnston that’s less exclusive and more affordable, check out these t-shirts from Mondo Tees ($20-$22). If you’ve seen The Devil and Daniel Johnston, you know how obsessed with super heroes Daniel can be. These shirts are Daniel’s first depiction of Iron Man, and they’re exclusive to Mondo. They’ve also got an exclusive 19×24, 5-color art print of Iron Man (edition of 40 for $25) printed by Obsolete Studios in Austin, TX. A portion of all Daniel Johnston merch profits goes straight to the man himself, so check out the selection of Iron Man, Batman, Hulk and Jeremiah the Innocent shirts and prints here.
