ToyCyte: Toy Culture Collected

On October 3rd, a nice friendly collaboration takes place in the Hut On An Island. Hut on An Island is a great meeting of the artist minds of the folks of Grass Hut and the Islands Fold Artists. The show opens on Friday the 3rd at 6 pm and includes such artists as Bwana Spoons, Le Merde and Fawn Gehweiler (for the complete list scroll down below). As Luke Ramsey said on the Grass Hut blog about the show: “There’s an infinite ocean with many islands. Some islands are big and some islands are small. On each island lives an artist. Some artists are big and some are small, but they are all tapped in to an infinite source of creativity. Each artist spends their days decorating, beautifying, manipulating, arranging, contemplating and finding purpose with their environment. When an artist feels contentment, happiness and pride with their island, the artist sails off in a boat to search for other artists.
