You know their work, their characters and their creatures, but do you know their faces? The Heroes & Villains exhibit debuts for just two short days at the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles starting today. The show features intimate portraits of emerging and established pop surrealist, graffiti, and alt-comic book artists. The collection, that was three years in the making, is a collaboration between the LA based photographers Tatiana Willis and Roman Cho. The collection of about fifty photographs includes some of our favorite creature creators like Gary Baseman, Tim Biskup, Shepard Fairey, Jaime Hernandez, Liz McGrath, among many others and will be on display and available for purchase as a limited edition print run of eighteen. The exhibit will travel to San Francisco and other cities at later dates so if you can’t make it down today or tomorrow, you may have a chance with some face time with some of your favs.
