Heroes and Villians Come to San Francisco

designers, events

A while ago, I wanted to just pack up my bags and jet on down to Los Angeles to witness bask in the captured auras of some of the art world’s hero’s and villain in the, well, aptly named Heroes and Villians show. (I wrote about the show here). If you’re too lazy to click on the link in the last sentence, here’s the deal in a nutshell. Tatiana Wills and Roman Cho, very talented photographers, joined forces and took a series of portraits of “notable, emerging, and established” figures in the art world. Liz McGrath, Mark Ryden, Shepard Fairey, Gary Baseman, were among the sixty-two image makers who said cheese for their cameras. But I needn’t go to LA. Now, I can just hope in a cab to check out the show. This month it is coming to the Shooting Gallery right here in my home town of San Francisco. The show open July 8th and will only be open for nine days with an artist reception on Saturday July 12th.
