ToyCyte: Toy Culture Collected

Following news of the upcoming Hello Brute x Letter Pressed collab, here’s another inspired pairing. We’re big fans of Ajee’s SkullSkin figures, and so is Jon Knox. He did the above custom for Ajee’s solo exhibition which opened in Paris this past weekend. You can see some Hello Brute-style sculpting in the nose of the 11-inch figure. Jon’s work “focuses on an all-boy crew who are often stuck somewhere between the best and worst moments of their lives,” so it’s cool to see him dabble in the female form here.
