events, vinyl

Thanks to Kristen at Plush You who co-published my Curster interview a couple months ago, I know more about plush. But the latest announcement from the Schmancy Toys owner to grace my inbox was not concerning softees; rather, resin figures and platform customs by Hello, Brute. Beginning July 11th at Schmancy in Seattle, you’ll be able to see Jon Knox (Hello, Brute)’s toys and paintings for yourself at his A Boy Who Won’t Be Good show. But if you want to take something home, you’ll have to be quick. The presale has begun. 9-inch Brute Toys are $175, 6.5-inch Jakes are $125, custom Dunny and Munny (with glasses!) figures are $275 and paintings range from $150-$500. Get yours here.
