If you eat, sleep, and dream Star Wars, you might as well drink it too. Action figure giant Kotobukiya showed off their entry into the collectible housewares market at NYCC (move over Wedgewood) with the Kiriko R2-D2, R4-P17 and C3PO drinking glasses. Kiriko, for those not well versed in glass wear decoration techniques, is a traditional Japanese glass etching process that’s been around in Tokyo (then called Edo) since 1824. They use emery powder to create deep engravings to create a two-tones frosted glass. Due to the complex process of manufacturing, the quantity is limited and the price, well pricey at $50 each. Drink up!
