If you’re in NYC this Friday evening, February 27th, be sure to visit My Plastic Heart NYC (at 210 Forsyth) to see an incredible new show by (one of my new favorite illustrators) Guy McKinley called Jet-Black & Featherlight. He’ll be debuting a whole mess of new paintings and prints, and also showing off a brand new, hand-made resin figure.

jet3While the exact details of the figure are currently top-secret, McKinley hinted that the skele-girl pictured here (which will be released as an exclusive print at the show) is also the model for the resin figure. As with all hand-made resins, the run will be very limited. More details to follow.

The show, undoubtedly full of skeletons, birds and foxes, will run until March 29th, but the resin figure will be making an appearance only for the first night, while McKinley is around to do the ‘chat and sign’ thing before he’s whisked away back to the UK.
