You may know Treeson. Hey, you may even own Treeson. But regardless if he is near and dear or totally new to you, you’ll be delighted with these new figures coming from Crazy Label. These lovely photos here are of the clay models of an upcoming blind box series in celebration of Treeson’s world.
The characters are based on creatures from Bubi Au Yeung’s book Treeson and Other Stories. The books come from Hong Kong, and initially there was the ever popular Treeson figure produced by Crazy Label. The Treeson has been beloved and adored, winning awards and the like. There was the standard issue Treeson, the 8” enlarged Treeson, the bookworm Treeson (that came with a limited edition set of the book), and now he’s getting some friends. The set should be out in the first part of 2009. No word on quantities, size or exact release date yet.
Who is Treeson you may ask? “Treeson is a kind creature and brought up by the trees in forest, and he was discovered by Ren at the beginning of the story and a stem is branching out from his heart.”
