I never thought I’d be writing about larvae; even the word “larvae” gives me the creeps. For a cute plush doll, I can make an exception. Since it’s related to Godzilla, that’s even better. Battra Larvae Plush is probably the most adorable larvae plush you’ll ever see. It looks more like a dragon, and that’s why I like it. Godzilla fans can get it at Amazon.com or TFAW.com. It’s a few bucks cheaper on Amazon.
If you don’t remember Battra, here’s a quick refresher:
In its larval form, Battra was a horribly brutal opponent who was relentless and remorseless in its attack. In this form, he wielded a massive yellow horn which could be put to use as a battering ram or bludgeoning weapon. From the horn, he was also capable of firing off furious electrical blasts of an orange-yellow color. He could fire similar electrical blasts of a purple color from his crimson eyes. However, these beams would often fly wildly about, Battra not having precise control over them yet.
I really need to rent some old Godzilla movies. You can have your fancy CGI; I just want some fighting monsters.
