When I think of nutcrackers, I think of Sugar Plum Fairies, hard shelled walnuts and typical Christmas emphemera. But this limited edition Steinbach Star Wars Darth Vader Nutcracker, well, that changed all that.
Looking more like a large scale action figure than a contraption to shell nuts, this piece was made by the world-renowned go-to nutcraker gods, Steinabach of Germany. Steinbach of Germany knows their way around a nutcracker: they’ve been making them for over a hundred and twenty five years.
This wacky contraption is handcrafted from “select European hardwoods”. The figure is 18 ½ inches tall and has a vinyl cape and Darth’s classic black helmet. This piece is a limited edition in one of their Star Wars series. And if you think that a nutcracker would be a nice cheap Christmas present for that Star Wars love in your life, think again.
