The rugged construction and heavy stitching definitely reminds me of the Naugas, plush monsters that were used to promote Naugahide in the early 70s (and re-released and available at http://www.naugahyde.com/promoitems_nauga.html )... the Naugas were also the inspiration for Touma's Boos I believe. Anyway, that's some very cool ice cream! These things are awesome!
