Sometimes bigger really is better. Spied at the San Diego Comic Con in the stunningly cool Strangeco booth was the epically large Smokestack by Mars1 statue, which clocks in at about three feet. The thing is way too big to be called a toy or a figure, this large piece is an idol to be worshiped appropriately. There were only ten of this Smokestack available at the con. This burnt sienna color of this one is a darker hue than the nine inch figure released last year (check Vinyl Pulse’s write up of it here). I was for sure tempted by this one, having visions of lugging this one on the plane as my carry on luggage made me chuckle. The thing would need it’s own seat!
