Good things come in small packages. And to prove this point, Giant Robot New York City will present their exhibit Crocodile Tears: Small Works of Art by Over 50 Artists. The show opens on July 18th and features works that are all five inches by seven inches or smaller. Each of the fifty artists involved are serving up two to five pieces of art that cover a wide array of mediums such as paintings, drawings, sculptures and stitching. There will be a reception, packed to the gills no doubt, on Saturday July 19th at 6:30 to 10:00. I’m shedding a couple of my own tears since I won’t be anywhere near NYC to bask in the glory of these small treasures. For more info, go here.
