ToyCyte: Toy Culture Collected

If you previously attended San Diego Comic-Con, you should have received the Spring issue of the Comic-Con Magazine by now. If you haven’t, you can download it here. It’s free, and you can also order a hard copy. Yes, that is Samuel L. Jackson on the cover. If that doesn’t get you excited, I don’t know what will.

This issue has a great interview with Frank Miller about his upcoming film, The Spirit. I loved the visuals in 300 and Sin City, so I expect nothing less than greatness.

Page 33 features a short list of Comic-Con exclusives. The list mostly includes action figures including a Gold Edition Iron Man Mark 1 Armor Bobblehead (Funko) and a Decepticon Skywarp (Action Figure Xpress). As the date approaches, we’ll probably see a lot more exclusives.
