Are you a plushy? Do you love any and all things soft, furry, and cuddly? Well, if you do, you best be getting your adorable lovin’ self over to the
Double Punch store and gallery in San Francisco tonight. This evening, opening at 6pm and going to midnight,
the Plush You! show kicks off. This is an annual exhibit that features a wide variety of plush creations from here, there and everywhere. We’re talking plush creatures from all around the world.
The show is the brainchild of Kristen Rask, the owner and curator of the store and gallery
Schmancy in Seattle, Washington. The first Plush You! show debuted there in 2005. Each year the event gets bigger and bigger. This is the second Plush You! event this year, the first was last month at Schmany. Yeah, those plushies are on the move! Below are a couple of the items that were in the Seattle show, a monster by Happy Cloud (you can check out their
Flickr photo stream here) and Mummies by Beasties (you can check out their
etsy store right here).
