The great and mighty Mezco has the spirit. Literally. They’ll soon be releasing, and you can pre order them now, a five piece series of character figures from the upcoming The Spirit big budget blockbuster (the film will be released in December 08.)

The film was written and directed by the great Frank Miller and is the “sinister gut wrenching tale of a hero born, murdered and born again” (hence the “spirit”). There are five figures in series one: The Spirit, The Octopus, Plaster of Paris, San Seref and Pathos (see below for a play by play who all these characters are).

The Spirit- The resurrected, masked vigilante sports more than 19 points of articulation, and comes with alternate fighting hands, a crowbar, a manhole cover, and one of his many pet cats.

The Octopus- This evil mastermind features over 13 points of articulation. Includes two big guns, a massive wrench, alternate hands and a removable hat.

Plaster Of Paris- This sultry villainess features 9 points of articulation, and comes with a short sword, alternate hand with mini daggers and display base.

Sand Seref- A jewel thief with dangerous curves features 13 points of articulation. Also included is her pistol and a trunk.

Pathos- One of the thugs of the Octopus, this henchman features 8 points of articulation, a machine gun and alternate hand.
