designers, kaiju

What happens when you cross a Super Puncher monster yokai with the lonely Otaku? You get the Super Puncher pocket kaiju which will debut at UglyCon Tokyo. Super Puncher is a collaboration between Gargamel and the team of Sun-Min Kim and David Horvath.

Here is the story behind Super Puncher pocket kaiju:

Lonely Otaku collected too many used Super Puncher Robot toys. He made weekly trips to Akihabara and bought at least one used Super Puncher robot toy on each visit! This was unhealthy, so he died. He came back as Super Puncher Yokai Robot ghost! Now he can’t buy anything.

It’s a tragedy wrapped up in a comedy. Super Puncher pocket kaiju will make its debut on October 10th. At UglyCon Tokyo, Gargamel will be one of the guest artists. If you’re able to get a Super Puncher pocket kaiju, please send us a picture! I’d love to see what this looks like.

I'm a nerd who loves music, movies, graphic novels, and of course toys. I grew up in Los Angeles, and I currently live in the non-plastic part of Orange County. I'm a sucker for anything that is little and cute: plushies, Dunnys, Smorkin' Labbits, zipper pulls. My collection is dominated by Kozik and Uglydolls, and my latest obsession is IWG/Rocket World.
