Gargamel Painting Stolen at SDCC

It’s incredibly rare for a site like this to ever have anything negative to share, but what happened at Comic Con was something that needs to get around. Last week at SDCC, one of the paintings from the Gargamel booth was stolen right off the counter. It was made by Katope and entitled “Zago Jizo.” The Gargamel guys flew all the way from Japan last week, bringing a great assortment of new figures, premiers, and exclusives including some amazing paintings by Katope, and it’s devastating and embarrassing that this would happen. It would be great to spread the word of what happened, and keep all eyes peeled for this piece, and at the end of the day, I know Katope would just like to get it back. Here’s hoping someone returns it.
