Meet the army of Kappa as painted by Koji Harmon of Gargamel. He just put this image up of the SDCC exclusive Tokoji Seijin vinyl figures. These Tokoji boast seven (count ‘em SEVEN) different colors with the green and blue Kappa scheme. All the figures were “…hand painted with care at Cometdebris headquarters” somewhere in Tokyo. I’ve been a fan of Koji’s stuff for a while, and this is just more great work from one of the Gargamel painters. If you’re not going to San Diego next week, then you will have to hold out until August for some more hand painted figures, when Koji brings a new wave of original painted figures to the Super7 shop. August 9th, Koji will be in San Francisco showing off more new paints including some gray Seijin with six colors. Here’s a teaser of Tokoji to come.
