It’s day two of San Diego Comic-Con, but it’s day one for me. Toys are just one component of Comic-Con, but it’s clear that it’s growing in popularity. Comic-Con is always packed, but navigating the toy area was an ordeal. That’s why Uglydolls are in the perfect position on the other side of the hall. They’re the first booth that I visited. By the time I arrived, the Sleepy Chilly Ice-bag was sold out. But they promised they’d have more in the morning.
I did get a chance to see the Ugly Action Figures. They were in a glass display so I couldn’t squish them. They’re all really adorable, and I look forward to collecting these. They had most of the favorites in various sizes including an enormous Poe the Dragon. The display looked great and I have to return early in the morning for my Sleepy Chilly Ice-bat. See more pictures from the Uglydolls booth after the jump.

I myself want a Sleepy Chilly Ice-Bat. How lucky you are… but, I am very much looking forward to owning tiny little Ox and the rest of the crew, they’ll be awesome alongside my bigger Uglydoll vinyls. Yay!!

We are big fans of Uglydolls - so much so we started selling them here in the UK - and get really frustrated that we can’t go to exhibitions like Comic Con, and get a chance to get hold of the exclusives like the Sleepy Chilly Ice Bat. We also can’t source the vinyls, which makes us mad/sad. Thanks hana for the inside view and some fun pix.

Saki, the action figure are so adorable. I’m really loving the entire line of Uglydolls products.
Emma, glad you enjoyed the pics and thanks for the kind words! I just took a look at your Uglydolls page and I love the pictures.

With the exception of 9:30-10 on Saturday morning, every other time was packed. On friday, we couldn’t even get to see all of the booths we wanted to visit. You could tell people were so serious about their toys.

oooh, the floor was SO awesome before 10. i think i’m going to do that next year, too. life was so good before 10. hehe.
i totally breezed through there and hit like, 5 booths (specific booths i tried to get to on friday, but didn’t want to deal with the hassle) in about 10 minutes. it was sweet.
