In more SDCC exclusive news, Medicom is adding a new VCD (that’s Vinyl Collectible Dolls, to laymen) to their list of releases in July. This time it’s a cool Star Wars alternate called the Shadow Guard. This guy was originally featured in the game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Apparently they’re super bad-ass and hand picked by Palpatine himself. The models have the same body of the Imperial Royal Guard figure, but with black robes and a red visor. He stands about 8″ tall and has the rad super deformed features that make the VCD line so interesting. He’s going to have REALLY limited availability for anyone not going to SDCC, so pre-order at Sideshow Collectibles and pick him up in San Diego.
