Strangekiss Art Toys just dropped some info on their 2009 production line. Following the success of their first original toy “Zog” from David Lanham with exclusive variant by Frank Kozik, they will release a slew of new goods in time for San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). 2009 will see more Strangekiss joints with David and Kozik, as well as Martin Laksman’s Suicidal Bunnies (above). Strangekiss also adds serial numbers to all of their production pieces in an effort to keep the highest standards of production to create a superior art toy. Check out some of their upcoming roster below. I can’t wait to see a blackwash Bubble Monster in 3D!

Strangekiss has been in development in one form or another for as long we can remember. This project has evolved into an online art / toy gallery for collectors and enthusiasts such as ourselves. The main mission of Strangekiss is to bring “Art back into Art”. We strive for diversity and want to push limits of the Status Quo as a forever-growing and changing entity. Strangekiss should first and foremost be considered an online gallery more than a store, as that is the vibe we want to impart upon our visitors and growing list of private collectors.

In the near future, we will introduce the Street Art section showcasing the origins of Los Angeles and New York Street Art from the grand old Pan Pacific in Los Angeles to The Bronx and the electric culture that was developing there.

We believe that you should challenge everyday life with art on many levels and allow it to be seen. If you pay very close attention to the world around you and open your eyes, you will be surprised at what is present around you. There is a secret positive war brewing, and we welcome you and ask you to embrace it. If we absorb and appreciate the art and emotion present around us, we really can change the world.

So embrace the Strange!

those suicidal bunnies are intriguing, but not in a good way. Seems they’re a blatant rip from Andy Riley’s book series from a few years ago > http://moourl.com/870qw I wonder which came first.
