Misc, resin

Since leaving resintastic Phoenix, I was feeling withdrawal symptoms. Thankfully, Edward Ruiz has my fix.  There are seriously not enough beatnik toys out there. This devilish duo was made for April 18th’s Attack of the Designer Toy Show in Dallas. Edward writes: “Cymon and Reggie are mischievous residents of expo park where being a little strange is the norm. Cymon has two accessories: a pipe wrench and a paint brush. When he’s not out being creative with the brush, then he’s probably causing a little trouble, generally all in the name of art. Reggie is Cymon’s sidekick. He carries a stick to poke at things while he’s out exploring, you never know what you might find.”

Love the story. Love the sculpt. According to Ed’s blog, Reggie stands 6 inches tall, which makes Cymon even more sizable. There will be a few versions of these guys at the show, “plus some goodies.” Great stuff! Keep us posted.
