Remember that crazy cool Karimoku wood Be@rbrick? Medicom Toy Co. and Japanese online lifestyle magazine Openers have just finished a collab on a 400% Be@rbrick that uses an environmental friendly approach to creating toys to raise awareness about environmental sustainability and protection. The 400% Be@rbrick uses scrap wood and paper products to give it a wooden feel and look. 150 of the handmade Be@rbricks created by Karimoku will be available online through Rumors.jp. The Be@rbricks have a suggested retail price of ¥62,790 JPY ($584 USD), and 10% of all sales will be donated to More Trees, an environmental foundation. [via Openers through Freshness]
