ToyCyte: Toy Culture Collected

Are you as terrible as me about pre-orders? Smart people just take the plunge and lock it in. What are the rest of us waiting for? ToyQube currently has Doktor A’s Mechtorian Mini Figures Series 1 up for pre-order for $89.94 here. MINDstyle has painstakingly recreated the mechanical citizens of Retropolis in great detail. The characters being released in this first series are, Sir Shilling Copperpenny, Mr. Head, Stephan Le Podd (whose name is spelled differently everywhere I see it), Sentry Wheel, D. J. Gramo and Scuttler the Butler. These figures were previously previewed at NYCC and SDCC 2008 and you can see them for real this weekend at NYCC 09. I’m not sure if these will be sold individually, but ToyQube is selling the entire set of six. It is currently listed as “low stock.”
