We love Doktor A and Gallery1988, so the only sad thing about their pairing up as part of the Transcenders group show is that it’s showing in the LA Gallery, not the SF Gallery, where we could peep it with our own eyes. Luckily, G1988 always blogs up their shows for all to see. Following this week’s release of Doktor A’s mini-Mechtorians, we thought it would only be right to spotlight these truly transcendent one-off custom art works. These figures would look brilliant in anybody’s collection, but I can’t believe a trendy cafe hasn’t yet snapped up the Patented Tasseomancer (below) yet. I have a barrista friend I wish I could get that for. Most of the work has been sold.
