Die Cast Transformer Lands at SDCC

action figures

I long for the days of die cast metal robots. When toys were bashed and beaten together, and nothing could ever be broken. Jet Fire and Optimus were indestructible, and Megatron was just a big freakin’ gun. The weight and sturdiness was unmatched in metal and you knew that when you heaved a Voltron or Transformers figure at your friends little brother because he wouldn’t leave you alone, he would definitely need stitches. Well Hasbro got the idea, and created their Transformers Titanium line featuring die cast metal parts. For SDCC, Hasbro is releasing a Skywarp figure! I’m into this Skywarp figure and can’t wait to see how it looks in real life. Now if only we can bring back toys that were choking hazards…

Prices and quantities haven’t been announced, but since Hasbro is prepping a second Transformers announcement, expect details to come out then. Via: Action-Figure.com

I remember those days to when Transformers did some real damage to anyone that stood in your wayand lasted more than 2 weeks! I look forward to seeing what they come up with, with the new figures.
