David Horvath just blogged that Babo will follow Wage and Ice-Bat as the third Uglydoll in the collectible Japanese vinyl Kaiju series. Babo, who is a total fatty, comes with an Uglytown building. David writes that both Babo and the building are the same height as Wage (which would put them at 6.25″ if I’m correct), but intheyellow has Babo’s height as 12cm. (4.7 inches). Note: some folks outside Japan have had trouble navigating the intheyellow order system, but I just did it for this and, although we had a little confusion with Paypal, it was pretty straight forward. To start the process, send an email to shop@intheyellow-store.com with your address, your name, and telephone number which is for sending by EMS. If the item isn’t a Japan-exclusive or already sold out, they’ll send you an invoice to pay by Paypal. You’re going to get hit with some serious freight and a Paypal surcharge, but you can only get these guys from intheyellow. I’m told this is some of the best vinyl in the world and I’ll let you know when I get my GID Ice-Bat.
