The amazing Cris Rose has made 3 GID Rotunds just for the ToyCyte store! The up-for-grabs orange custoMONDAY edition has a unique head content; the other three are green, khaki and grey with the same head contents (but different size heads). Each piece is a one-off with unique damage, rust, moss and GID box. There are only 3 available, and each is hand-cast and hand painted resin. Please note that these will be sent from the UK, so there will be a slight delay in receiving them, but they are well worth it! For more about Cris and the brilliant Radioactive Rotunds, see the Cris Rose custoMONDAY.

Important, please read: Rotund and Runcible are both hand cast, hand painted works of art that are assembled by the designer in his studio in London. As such, imperfections and irregularities are to be expected, so if this ain’t your thing, please don’t purchase! They are further distressed to give them the appearance of aged robots, as both are several hundred years old now, and self-maintaining! Missing fingers, toes and chunks removed from the body are entirely intended, and should cause no distress. Resin is rather brittle, and some parts of the figures are very small, so please be very careful not to let them fall over, or they may break. Displaying these pieces of art are entirely at the consideration and risk of the collector, and while breakages can be repaired, they will be done so at the artist’s discretion and the collectors cost. Thank you!

Thanks to everyone that bought one, they just sold out!

Big thanks to ToyCyte too for a fab feature and competition. :D

I think that scientists and chronologists need to create new, smaller increments of time to measure how fast Cris Rose’s stuff sells out. Seconds are just too large.
