As Hana mentioned in her post on Dunny Series 5, one of my favorite magazines, Clutter, has a Dunny in the upcoming series from Kidrobot. Clutter co-founder Maz indicates via their blog that it’s been almost 3 years since they were asked to contribute a design to a Dunny series. So that gives you an idea of how long it takes for these sets to come about. These are proto pics via Clutter, and they don’t show the sword which will be included as this figure’s accessory.
Clutter is responsible for making one of my favorite Qee figures of all time: the Venus Flytrap Qee. The chances of something like this happening are so slim really, but they managed to combine my two most prized collections/hobbies into one awesome figure. I didn’t manage to get them as the box set shown below, but rather procured the book and the Qee separately on the Bay. Incidentally, when people think of carnivorous plants, they often imagine the plant literally eating the insect. In many cases, the plant merely traps the insect and the bugs die a slow and excruciating death–often being eaten alive by bottlenecked bugs trapped below them and scavenging smaller critters who can crawl freely in or out.
