ToyCyte: Toy Culture Collected

Artoyz has just announced four new location-specific colorways for the “magnificent animal” known as Chaos Monkey by Bunka [tagged]. Following last month’s release of the original 5.5-inch rotocast vinyl Chaos Monkey (edition of 500), here come some more. The blue version (above left) is a Mondotozs exclusive, currently available, limited to 100 pieces, for 25 Euros ($35USD) each. The sure-to-make-girls-go-apeshit pink colorway will be exclusive to Kidrobot in an edition of 100 pieces “out soon”. Below left is the monotone Euro version, reserved for European retailers (wholesale inquiries through Artoyz) in an edition of 500 pieces in mid-October. Below right is the white US version, also in an edition of 500 with an October release date (wholesale inquiries through DKE). Finally, they’re not giving it all away: a special version will be released on Saturday October 18th on Artoyz.com, and in stores at Artoyz Paris and Lyon Artoyz.
