“Webcomic “Robot in the City” has jumped out of the internets and made its way into your living room! Well, not literally, but in a kind of figurative fashion! Indie artist and creator Alexander Shen (whom we recently had lunch with) has gone and brought a very limited run of the main character, Ritz the [...]

That is why it gives us great pleasure to announce our [...]

One of the main goals we have here at ToyCyte is to support toy designers, especially artists who have just begun their journeys. As an artist myself, I know exactly how hard it is to get a foothold into any industry, let alone the acutely small world of designer toys, and now the added stress of a crappy economy makes it all the more challenging. Because we pay every writer who writes for us, we also are looking to keep up with publishing costs but also move forward with exciting projects for 2009. That is why I am extremely excited to announce that ToyCyte has paired up with some of the very artists we have written about to launch our new storefront: ToyCyteShop!
