action figures

Before Schwarzenegger was the Governator, Commando, or even The Terminator, he was Conan the Barbarian. NECA has gone and paid tribute to the Austrian bodybuilder with two figures for Conan Series 1. First up is War Paint Conan who looks like he’s ready to eat the heart of anyone who stands in his way. The second one is Pit Fighter Conan who comes with some cool looking bladed gloves. The sculpting on these look great and War Pain Conan looks down right menacing. I just feel a little weird about having a half naked sword wielding Austrian staring at me every night, but that’s just me.

Ok, I’m going to have to netflix the old Conan movies. The first one is such a good-bad movie.

You might as well rent Red Sonja while you’re at it. I’m hoping they make her in a Conan series coming up.

The war paint on Conan looks amazing! I especially like the look in his eyes in that one. I still wish they made a Conan 3 movie, but I guess it was a choice between that and being the gov of California.

I just picked up both the war paint and Pit fighter Conan. They look awesome and I’m hoping the ’series 1′ on the packaging is simply fortelling what will be available in the future.
