Bryan Collins’ Beast Buddies raise an interesting question : are blind boxes really that bad when every piece you can potentially get is original and from an artist you dig? Either way, Mr. Collins’ is offering up an undisclosed number of custom 3” Dunny Beast Buddies, each with an original sketch, a fancy box, and a sticker, and each representing a unique beastie.
Bryan explains this method of packaging :
“Why are Beast Buddies mysteriously packaged like this? One reason is that we don’t know which ones we will come across on our hunts. They are elusive little monsters! Another reason is that once they are captured, we can’t risk them getting loose, so the box gets sealed right away. The third reason is that surprises and just so much fun.”
Shades of Fliggins! So, for $45 and a trip to Etsy, one of these awesomely painted guys can be yours.

Oh Crap! Now I need one of these for my kids’ magical monster room! Darn you ToyCyte, you are going to bankrupt me by pointing out the coolness on a daily basis…*sigh*

Thank you so much, Collin, for the promo on these little guys. I am having lots of fun creating the Beast Buddies, and will do so until they finally get the best of me. Thanks again.
