Brian Colin Codedecoinc Custom Dunny Series 2

Mon, Aug 4, 2008

custom, vinyl

I really dig seeing the full extension of the DIY entrepreneurial spirit. Case in point: Artists and customizers who release an entire series of custom Dunny figures, blind-box packaging and all. This is the second custom Dunny series for artist Brian Colin, who uses acrylics, sculpy and spray varnish to achieve his signature style. The series will include eighteen, 3-inch Dunny figures, as well as a silver and golden ticket. The silver ticket = the 3-inch Space Marauder; if you get him, you get his rocket as the prize. Whoever finds the actual paper golden ticket will get an 8-inch Space Marauder complete with custom box. Each figure will cost $40 (shipped in custom boxes–see below for example of series 1 packaging), and they’re expected to leave Codedecoinc HQ by the end of the month. Blind-box sign-up sheet is over at Kidrobot in this thread.
